Applications are now open for the University of Adelaide International Scholarships, 2024, also known as the Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI).
Adelaide International Scholarships in Australia 2024/2025 [Fully Funded]
These scholarships are intended for students who want to pursue a Master’s or PhD degree, coming from any part of the world and without any restriction or reservation based on nationality or background. Every year, several scholarships are granted to various students with a high class of academic achievement.
Eligibility and Qualification to Consider
For the scholarship offer at the Adelaide University International Scholarship, candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions :.
Only applicants with successful completion of a degree requiring at least Australian First Class Honours will be eligible for entry. This is typically a four-year undergraduate program with a major research project completed in the final year. All qualifying programs of study must be successfully completed in order for this criterion to be met.
If the applicant is applying for a Research Master degree, that student should not already have any research qualification which the University of Adelaide regards as of a standard equivalent to an Australian Research Master degree or higher.
International scholarship applicants seeking entry to the University of Adelaide International Scholarships need to demonstrate that they have met the minimum English language proficiency requirements for direct entry by the scholarship closing date. Applicants holding a Pre-Enrolment English Program completion certificate to meet the entry requirements for an intended program of study may also be considered.
International students who have already commenced the degree program for which they are seeking an award are not eligible to apply for the University of Adelaide International Scholarships, unless they can demonstrate that they were unable to apply in the previous scholarship round.
Applicants who submitted an application for the University of Adelaide International Scholarships and were successful in being considered in a previous international scholarship round, but were unsuccessful in the scholarship offer, will be automatically reconsidered in the following scholarship round. This reconsideration is based on the premise that such applicants still have a valid offer of candidature for the intake corresponding to the following scholarship round.
Scholarship Benefits at Adelaide Scholarship International
ASI provides the following benefits:
- Course Tuition Fees Coverage: ASI covers tuition fees for two years for a Master’s degree by Research and for three years for Doctoral research degree programs. In the case of doctorate programs, an extension is possible.
- Annual Living Allowance: The successful candidates will be offered an annual living allowance. This allowance is indexed annually. The living allowance is payable for two years for the Master’s degrees by Research and for three years for Doctoral research degrees. Again, this is comparable to tuition fees; doctoral program recipients may have the opportunity to request an extension.
- OSHC: For awardees holding a Postgraduate Research (Subclass 574) visa, ASI will provide compulsory standard Overseas Student Health Cover policy—Worldcare. This means student, spouse, and dependents—if any—are covered for a standard student visa period.
