This scholarship is available for undergraduate and postgraduate students and provides up to AUD $10,000 applied towards your tuition fee. Scholarships are limited so we encourage you to accept your offer and scholarship early to avoid disappointment.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships at Macquarie University, applicants must meet the academic and English language requirements specified by the university. Listed below are the major requirements:
Academic Requirements:
- For Postgraduate, a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) equivalent of 65 will be required.
- A minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank requirement of 85 or its equivalent is required for undergraduate applications
Macquarie University Admission:
The student must have been granted admission to study at Macquarie University to commence a Bachelor or Postgraduate Coursework Degree the following year. That is, the applicant should have received an admission letter to pursue a degree course of his/her choice from Macquarie.
English Language Proficiency:
Documentary evidence for minimum English language proficiency must be provided by all applicants to show that the requirements of Macquarie University have been met. This will more than likely mean attaining levels of proficiency in things such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE Academic. Required scores differ at times between programs and levels of study.

The application process for the Australia Awards—Pacific Scholarships at Macquarie University varies by scholarship. This is an overview of how to apply:
- Auto-Assessment: In certain scholarships, students will be automatically assessed as a part of their course application process. If successful, students will be made an offer of scholarship along with their course offer.
- Separate Scholarship Application: In some cases, a separate scholarship application may be necessary. This application is then judged based on predetermined criteria by a scholarship selection committee.
- Online Course Application: Interested and eligible candidates will primarily need to apply online for their chosen Bachelor or Postgraduate Coursework Degree at Macquarie University. The next step is to provide personal and academic details and, where necessary, supporting documents.
- Receive Macquarie University Student Number: Once the course application has been processed, the applicant will be issued with a Macquarie University Student Number. This student number is mandatory to lodge the online scholarship application form.
- Lodge Scholarship Application: Applicants should then lodge the online scholarship application form if necessary. This online form could include further information or attachments that are unique to the scholarship condition.
Selection and Offer The scholarship selection committee will consider all applications in relation to the scholarship criteria. Successful candidates will be notified of the scholarship offer by the letter of course offer or separately as specified by the terms of the scholarship.
