Sponsored by the Department of State’s U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), the Tomorrow’s Leaders Program provides undergraduate and graduate scholarships for accomplished students who are from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The scholarship program aims to serve students from socioeconomically underserved backgrounds who demonstrate strong leadership potential but lack the means to obtain an American-style education.

MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship 2024 | Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Undergraduate applicants must be current high school senior or 2022-2023 graduate.
• Undergraduate applicants who are current high school seniors must maintain their high academic achievement and pass their leaving exam.
• Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English. Minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80 (received within two years of application date).
• Graduate applicants must provide evidence of academic English proficiency as required by the relevant graduate program.
• Graduate applicants must commit to completing their master’s degree within two academic years
• Demonstrate financial need. Applicants should be underrepresented or economically deserving students and provide supporting financial documentation.
• Ability to travel and start their undergraduate program in August/September of 2024.
• Demonstrate strong academic credentials.
• Maturity, adaptability, and leadership potential. Graduate Program Evidence of academic English proficiency as required by the relevant graduate program. Commit to completing their master’s degree within two academic years. Demonstrate financial need. Applicants should be underrepresented or economically deserving students and provide supporting financial documentation. Ability to travel and start their undergraduate program in August/September of 2023. Strong academic credentials. Maturity, adaptability, and leadership potential.

Application Procedures

Interested applicants for the MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship 2024 are required to apply online, either as an undergraduate or graduate applicant, before the application deadline.
