This scholarship, in the main, allows beneficiaries the opportunity to work with many talented, inspiring researchers at the university.

Applicants are put on notice that candidates will be selected based on academic merit and ranked according to the results achieved in the final year to level determine the value of the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria | Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarships 2023/2024

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for the scholarships;

Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than Australia and New Zealand and not be holders of a permanent resident visa of Australia.

The applicant must have been offered admission to an undergraduate course at the University of Melbourne.

Eligibility Criteria

All interested applicants must not have previously undertaken any tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program)

Applicants must have obtained good grades in their high school certificates or its equivalent.

Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership potential and must be able to interact with people of diverse background.

Scholarship Benefits

This scholarship provides the following benefits:

There shall be a sum amounting to $10,000 tuition fee remission, that would be given to every eligible student in their first undergraduate degree,

50% fee remission for three years of an undergraduate degree, or
100%fee remission for three years of undergraduate degree.

Application Procedures

How-to-Apply: All Interested applicants are expected to first apply for admission into a full-time undergraduate programme at the University of Melbourne for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Eligible candidates with an offer of admission are automatically considered the scholarships based on merit.
