KAUST Tuition-Free Graduate Programs 2024 | Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the KAUST Graduate Programs are very transparent and designed to ensure that, upon admission, students are fully prepared for excellent performance in graduate studies and research. The main criteria are the following:

A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a relevant field from an institution of higher education recognized by KAUST is required for admission. This undergraduate degree should be in a relevant major that best fits the major for which the student is applying to at KAUST, to ensure that students have background knowledge and skills for graduate study.
Excellent Academic, Research, and Leadership Abilities: KAUST targets students who have outstanding academic performance, research potential, and leadership abilities. This could be evident from academic transcripts, research experiences, publications, awards, and leadership roles taken during undergraduate study or professional career.
