Scholarship Benefits

  • The Rhodes Scholarship covers various expenses to support scholars during their studies at the University of Oxford:
    1. Course Fees: The scholarship covers Oxford University course fees.
    2. Stipend: Scholars receive an annual stipend of £18,180 per annum (£1,515 per month), from which they cover living expenses, including accommodation.
    3. Student Visa and Health Surcharge: The Trust covers the fee for a student visa and the associated International Health Surcharge (IHS).
    4. Flights: The Rhodes Trust provides two economy class flights, one to and from the UK at the beginning and end of studies in Oxford.
    5. Settling-in Allowance: Scholars receive a settling-in allowance to help cover initial expenses upon arrival.
    6. Assistance for Course Extension: For scholars who transition to a second course of study in Oxford, the Trust provides assistance to cover the fee for visa renewal and further application for HIS (International Health Surcharge).
