Criteria to be Eligible for the Michigan Dearborn Scholarship
Here are the criteria for eligibility to land a scholarship at the Michigan Dearborn University:
For Freshmen:
- All interested international student are expected to have a valid visa.
- GPA requirement: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Standardized test requirement: SAT combined score of 1020 or higher, or an ACT composite score of 20.
- Enrollment status: Full-time in a degree-seeking program at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
- Scholarship renewal: Based on achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher at UM-Dearborn.
- English language proficiency: 6.5 or higher in the IELTS, or TOEFL (IBT-80, CBT-213, PBT-550), or MELAB (76).
For Transfer Students:
- Same visa requirement as freshmen.
- Students must have a higher GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Same enrollment status as freshmen
- Students are expected to Achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher at University of Michigan Dearborn.
- English language proficiency should be met, same as for the freshmen student
