NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship 2023 | Eligibility Criteria

To be qualified for the NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship, following criteria must be met:

Applicants must be a citizen of Nigeria who is currently admitted to a Nigerian Federal or State University which the National Universities Commission (NUC) has accredited and;
Currently enrolled in their second year of full-time study in said university;
With a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system;

Not be a recipient of any other scholarship (National or International).
Below are the steps to follow while applying:
1. Click on “Apply Now” tab.
2.    Click on “Register Now” to open an account.
3.    Proceed to your email box confirm account opening
4.    After activation of your account, go back to the official application website.
5.    Input your email and password used to upload information
6. Enter your personal information, National Identification Number (if available), educational information, other information and upload scanned documents required.
7. Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in same order. A sworn affidavit or certificate should be uploaded if otherwise.
8. Ensure you view all documents after uploading, to ensure that they are clear and accurate.
9. When asked to upload photo, upload a passport photograph with a white background.
10. Recheck application information to avoid errors
11. Click “Apply Now” to submit information
12. You will get a mail and SMS, this proves that your Registration was successful.
13. Go back to the website and log in using your Email and Password to download your profile and proceed to get your Head of Department to sign the document.
14. Now upload a scanned copy of the signed profile, this would be used for verification.

To apply for the 2023 NNPC/SNEPCo National University Scholarship, follow the steps outlined below:

First, check that you are eligible: Be an indigene/citizen of Nigeria; Be a full-time registered student in your second year of study at a Nigerian Federal or State University accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC); Have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score of at least 3.5 in a 5-grade system; Not be an incumbent of any other scholarship (National or International).
First, prepare the following documents: You are expected to arrange all your documents in other words, before proceeding to the application steps. They are:
Recent passport-sized photograph of yourself in JPEG format, not more than 200 kilobytes.

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations Result.
O’ Level Result(s).
‘A’ Level / OND / NCE Result(s) as applicable

Letter of Identification from your State of Origin indicating your local government of origin.
Academic results for 100 level.
Have a working personal e-mail and phone number: This will come in handy for contacts during the application and selection process;

Fill the online application form: An online application form is usually prepared on the official application portal for a particular scholarship. Fill in the online application form with the required information, ensuring accuracy in your personal and educational details.

Upload supporting documents: Scan the above-mentioned documents and then upload them in your application. Each document should be per the desired format and size specified.
