Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate Students Program 2024 [Fully Funded]

The American University in Cairo, Egypt, calls for applications for the Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate Students Program, TLG 2024.

The Program is designed to offer meritorious students professional credentials and experience that qualify them to take leading roles in the production and dissemination of knowledge and ultimately for the service of humanity.

Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate Students Program 2024 [Fully Funded]

The Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate students program is a joint undertaking by the US Department of State, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs and the American University in Cairo.

This program allows students the opportunity to pursue higher education at the master’s degree level fully funded.

Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate Students Program 2024 | Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria to be considered for the Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate Students Program:

• Nationality: Applicants must be nationals/citizens of one of the following countries: Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Libya, Tunisia, Yemen, Syria, Bahrain, the West Bank, and Gaza.
• AUC Graduate Admission Requirements: Applicants must also fulfill the graduate admission requirements of the American University in Cairo.
• Academic Potential: The applicant should have high order academic potential with a bachelor’s degree in any field and a minimum overall grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
• English Proficiency: Written and spoken fluency in English is required to take part in the TLG program. Applicants may be asked to demonstrate proficiency in the use of the English language with any of the known English proficiency tests, such as TOEFL or IELTS.
• Maturity and Leadership Potential: Applicants are expected to possess maturity, flexibility, and leadership potential, all of which will be judged from a combination of extracurricular activities, recommendations, and interviews.
• Demonstrate Financial Need: One must show financial need to qualify for TLG. This can be in terms of documentation or other forms of proof regarding the finance that shows a need for financial support.
• Research Requirement: The graduate thesis research for scholarship applicants must take place in one of the research projects in the list of eligible research projects identified by the Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate Students Program.

The scholarship winners will have full coverage under this Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate Students Program. The elements for support include the following:

• Full Tuition Fees: The program defrays full tuition fees for both the Fall and Spring semesters, hence creating the opportunity for scholars to pursue their graduate studies without any financial burden.
• Medical Insurance: Scholars are covered for medical insurance to extend services related to healthcare and well-being.
• Monthly Stipend: The stipend is availed monthly to scholars, offering money for upkeep and other miscellaneous expenses during study.
• Student Housing: It offers accommodation to scholars, thereby placing them in a comfortable living environment that is conducive for learning.
