Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program 2023-2024 | Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cambridge, the interested applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Citizenship:
The applicant should be a citizen of an African country.
Course of Study:
- Applying for a one-year Master’s course at the University of Cambridge. The prospective scholars can apply to most programs available at the University.
- Covers travel and visa costs
- Accommodation and meals
- Provision for a laptop
- health cover
- A stipend for living
- Tuition fees
How to Apply
Prospective applicants to the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cambridge should use the following steps to apply:
1. Apply for Admission:
Apply to one of the eligible one-year Master’s program at the University of Cambridge. Ensure that you meet all the admission requirements as set for your prospective program.
2. Graduate Application Portal:
Complete your application through the University of Cambridge’s Graduate Application Portal. During the process, you will be asked to select funding bodies; ensure that you select the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program.
Presented to the applicant will be a range of options. Once you select the mastercard foundation scholars programme, you would be required to submit a mandatory personal statement. Applicants will be required to complete their application by the application deadline.
