The McKinsey Forward Africa Program 2024 is aimed at serving young talents in Africa, either unemployed or employed with no relevant career skills to help them grow in the future. It focuses more on the acceptance of applications from candidates with fewer than five years of work experience.
McKinsey Forward Africa Program 2024 | What to Expect
The 2024 Forward Africa Program at McKinsey is a three-level, fully immersive learning journey that will help young professionals develop new ways of thinking, enhance their confidence, and lead with purpose.
Structure of the program:
Level 1: Foundations
Focus: Development of critical thinking and problem-solving
Outcomes: Lay a strong foundation for professional development
Level 2: Advanced Skills
Focus: Practical leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Outcomes: Acquire high-level skills and positioning as a valuable asset in any work environment.
Level 3: Applied Learning
Focus: Applied skills learned to now be applied to real-world scenarios and challenges.
Outcomes: Embed learning through practical application and experience activities.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the McKinsey Forward Africa Program 2024, applicants shall ensure that the following conditions are met:
Residence: Applicants shall currently reside on the African continent, in all of its countries.
Employed/ Employment Status: Applicants shall be either employed, self-employed, or in between jobs.
Work Experience: Have spent less than 5 years in total at work; or have spent more than 5 years at work but have never at any time been responsible for directly managing any colleagues.
Education: Have completed at least secondary education/high school.
Language proficiency: Master the English language since the program will be delivered in English.
